House Mouse & Friends Challenge -Case this Card

Happy Saturday! I've got a very unique card to share with you today for the House Mouse & Friends Challenge Blog. This week over at their blog it's a case this card challenge so to see the card I am following hop on over to the blog. The idea behind the card though is to  keep the fun layout and main idea of using partial images.  This can be done in any theme. I'm not sure if I did this right but I tried and this is the idea I came up with.

HMFMC190

I used the House Mouse Stamp Piece Corps from 1993. Then to go along with the theme of the puzzle I used my Sizzix Puzzle Maker #2 die to create the partial image look and create this fun look.  The sentiment is  actually from one Micheal's $1 bin stamp but I just masked off each word and stamped it in different colors to create a more fun look.  Then I cut out the words so the words so they fit where I wanted them. The puzzle pieces and sentiment are then popped up on foam tape to give it that extra dimension.

I really like how this card turned out it's very different and unique but I really like the two puzzle tone in the stamped image and the puzzle pieces. It really is a fun card.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
