Getting back on track & Announcement!!!

Hello it's been way to long since I last posted on my blog here.   Therefore I'd like to change that, I've been crafting a lot just haven't had the time or energy to keep up to date with my blog posting.  Though I want to change that and be better at updating this blog for those of you who read my blog and also as a way to keep track of the things I make in a fun way.

The main reason why I haven't posted on the blog since November 16 of last year is because I am expecting my second child in June of his year. So around this time when my blog started lacking in posts I didn't have the energy to keep up with posting all that I'd been making.  I was also busy making baby announcement cards during this time so that we could share our news with family and friends in a really fun way.  (I will share this card/postcard with you in his post)

Then with the holidays coming things got super busy with family events and various things.  Then came the new year and I took on a few more shifts at work for a few more weeks.  Life kept going on and I crafted, worked and spent time with family and friends.  I always intended to share what I'd been making on the blog. I'd take a picture of the cards I'd made just never got around to posting but I'm going to try my best to catch up and change that.

We've also been preparing for baby #2 which means we've been doing a lot of organizing projects.  I've moved my crafting space into our bedroom and the kallax unit in our dining room area.  This way we could give our almost two year old a new big boy room and have a room for the new baby arriving in June.   I'm almost done getting my new crafty space in order just a few odds and ends that need to find homes.  My goal is to find a place for everything so that I know where it is and can really utilize all the crafting things I have.

Our baby announcement for baby # 2 to tell family and friends. I used Lawn Fawns "Loads of Fun" stamp set to create this very fun card.  I made it into a scratch and win card by using Inky Antics 1-1/4 inch circle scratch off stickers.  We called it "Scratch and win with Riley Loads of fun!" Riley is our first born son so it was basically him announcing he was going to be a big brother as you can see.

It was really fun to give this to family and friends.  We put it in an envelope and taped a penny to it and everyone was confused by the penny on the envelope and excited to open the envelope.

Get Kids Crafty May Blog Hop Gardening theme

It's that time of month again where I share a fun crafty project that I made with my kiddo Riley for Get Kids Crafty. Hello and thank you for joining us for the May Get Kids Crafty! blog hop! We are thrilled to have you! Our theme this month is gardening and our kids have created some AMAZING projects to share with you! We had a lot of fun creating our project this month. We made a bumble bee mobile.  Both my kids love the song bringing home my baby bumble bee. Especially my youngest Liam, it seems to usually calm him down when he's upset.  So we created this fun project to the theme of the song.      First we had to die cut our bees, Here is Riley playing with an already cut bee in the Big Shot machine.      Here is Riley turning the handle on the Big Shot machine to cut out all our bees. We had to do 16 in total one for the front and back as you will see in a little bit. Here is what the finished bee looks like and the die cut that we used from
