Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I can't believe another year is coming to a close and a new year is here again.  Goodbye 2017, hello 2018!  I wanted to share with you today a Christmas & new year card I made. I used a fireworks embossing folder I had in my collection and ran it through my big shot machine.  Then I sponged festive berries, salty ocean and chipped sapphire distress inks over the fireworks and in the sky.  I added sparkles to the sky using the clear wink of Stella pen.  The sentiment in the sky is from Lawn Fawn's Here we go a waddling stamp set.  The sentiment and the foxes were stamped in Memento Tuxedo black ink.  The foxes are from Lawn Fawn's upon a star stamp set.  The foxes are colored with 0R1 (spectrum noir marker) & YR07 (copic marker) I hope you have fun ringing in the new year and may 2018 bring you joy and adventure. Engagement foxes

Hello hello, I created a different version of the engagement card from my previous post. I had another friend recently get engaged too. Apparently love is in the air these days. I used Lawn Fawn's upon a stamp stamp set for the sentiment and cute foxes.  Both the sentiment and critters were stamped in Memento tuxedo black ink. Then the critters were colored in with spectrum noir markers.  To create the night sky I used faded jeans distress ink.  I also used a Simon Says Stamp wafer die called heart sprinkle in the sky. I used My Favorite Things grassy edges die-namics and used mowed lawn distress ink to create the grass.   On the inside I used a rubber stamp from my collection and stamped it with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then I used the faded jeans distress ink and stamped the heart constellation from Lawn Fawn's upon a star stamp set.   Hope you enjoyed these two cards!    Affiliate Link Disclosure: I participate in various affiliate pro

It's Boxing Day! That's a wrap on Christmas for this year and I've got one more card to share with you all today. I used Lawn Fawn's cheery Christmas stamp set. All images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink.  Then colored in with Copic or spectrum noir markers.   The tree image was stamped in My Favorite Things field day hybrid ink.  The ornaments on the tree and the words cheery & bright are stamped using My Favorite Things Red Hot & Blu Raspberry hybrid ink.  For the sky I used Lawn Fawn's upon a star stamp set to crest the stars and stamped them using ranger clear ink and then heat embossed them with Micheal's recollections white embossing powder.   Then I sponged faded jeans distress ink in the sky over the embossed stars to create a night sky.  I hope your Christmas was cheery & bright!  Enjoy the last few days of 2017!   Affiliate Link Disclosure: I participate in various affiliate programs. I come let us adore Him

Hello Hello Christmas is just days away and I've got another Christmas themed card to share with you today.   I had a lot of fun making this one. I used this wise men embossing folder I have in my collection.  First I stamped the sentiment from honey bee designs "Joy to the World" and heat embossed it using Micheal's white embossing powder.  Then I stamped the stars from Lawn Fawns "upon a star" stamp set.  I also heat embossed the stars using the same white embossing powder.   I sponged the embossed image with blueprint sketch and black soot and blended them together.   I masked off the North Star so that I could make it gold.  I used Yasutomo Pearlecent watercolors to make the star gold and sparkly as these watercolors are metallic. I used Micheal's card stock for the card base.    Thanks for stopping by!   Affiliate Link Disclosure: I participate in various affiliate programs. That means I receive a small commission, a

Happy Birthday to Who... You (Dr. Who)

Happy Weekend!  Here is another custom order I made for a friend back in November.  If you're a Doctor Who fan, than you'll love this card.  I had a lot of fun making this card.  I myself don't know too much about Doctor who but I know that the Police Box is a main part of it.   I love that the doors open up to finish the sentiment.  The background is done with Faded Jeans distress ink. The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from Avery Elle's party bus stamp set.  It is heat embossed with Micheal's Recollections white embossing powder. To white the "To who" part of the sentiment I used the Sakura Jelly Roll 08 white pen.   On the "You" I used black soot distress ink. I then added some sparkle to the "You" using the clear wink of stella pen.    Affiliate Link Disclosure: I participate in various affiliate programs. Tonka 2nd Birthday!

This is a recent custom order I did and I love how it turned out.  I found this image in black and white on Google images. I then printed it off and colored it in with spectrum noir markers. The balloons are cut from a old sizzix die I have in my crafty collection.  The sentiment is from Avery Elle's birthday bus stamp set.  It's stamped on black paper and heat embossed with Micheal's recollections white embossing powder.  To finish off the sentiments presentation I cut flag ends on each side. I embossed the background with Swiss dots embossing folder.

Pumpkin Spice it up

Hi there, I made this card last month for a friend's birthday. I thought I should share it before winter hits too much and pumpkin spice is really a thing of the past until next year of course. I used the greeting farm/Simon Says Stamps Stamptember exclusive "pumpkin Spice it up" I used a Sizzix embossing folder with the coffee beans for the background. From my google it seems to not be available anymore. The sentiment inside the pumpkin is from Simon Says Stamp's set called "It's no secret" The images are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then colored in Copic and Spectrum noir markers.  I used a Sakura  Jelly Roll 08 white pen to add details and polka dots to the image.    As we head into the Christmas season may you enjoy family, friends, pumpkin pie and all things that come with the holidays.   Thanks, for stopping by I hope you like this project and that it inspires you today!   Affiliate Link Disclosure: I participate in
