Saying Thanks with Birds & Butterflies

Hello there and welcome back to my blog. I hope you're enjoying seeing all these thank you cards I created recently. Here are two more cards of my recent thank you card order.  I really love how this first card turned out, it's so simple and fun. I used this fun embossing folder as the background and I feel it creates a great base for the other elements on the card. I sponged the edges of the embossed background to finish it off.   The Thanks sentiment is from a die I have in my stash I don't know what company it is from.  The birds are from Lawn Fawn's stamp set Cheery Christmas and they are colored in with my spectrum noir markers.  I used some patterned paper for the bottom of the card to finish it off. I really love how this second card turned out too.  I love the cream colored embossed background.  The butterflies are actually from another $1.50 stamp from Micheal's.  I fussy cut them out and embossed them in clear embossing powder.  That way I cou

Embossed Thank you cards!

Here are two more Thank you cards I made for a custom order back in January. For this first card I used a chevron embossing folder using several different colors. Then I cut them into different sizes to create this fun pattern.  The Thank you sentiment is a Micheal's $1.50 stamp I've had for a long time. Finally to finish off the card I used some black ink and sponged it around the edges of the card to make it all pop. For the next card I used an embossing folder to create this fun background.  Then I used a scalop border die from My Favorite Things which I believe is now retired.  The sentiment is another Micheal's $1.50 stamp I've had for a long time.  I also used some blue ink and sponged the edges of this card to finish it all off.  Affiliate Link Disclosure: I participate in various affiliate programs. Thankful for you deer friend

Here is another card for the thank you card order I had back in January.  I love how this card turned out.  I used a bunch of Lawn Fawn stamp sets to create this simple card. The Lawn Fawn Stamp sets I used are Toboggan Together , Cheery Christmas and Jump for Joy .  I also used My Favorite Things Blu Raspberry hybrid ink to sponged the edges of the white embossed panel and the banner under the sentiment.  The banner is die cut from My Favorite Things Fish tale Flags STAX die-namics .    The blue card stock behind the deer's was punched with a scallop punch I have in my stash. So Thankful I jump for joy!

Here is card from the order of the thank you cards I made back in January. They are finally hopping on to the blog.  This is just a fun thank you card and would be great for any lady in your life especially a mom.  I used a chevron embossing folder for the background and then sponged it with My Favorite Things Pure Plum hybrid ink pad .  The kangaroo comes from Lawn Fawn's Critters Down Under stamp set and the sentiment was created with Lawn Fawn's Jump for Joy stamp set . Elegant Thank you card

In early January I had a family member ask me to make them 12 Thank you cards to use.  So over the next few days I will be finally sharing these cards with you. This first card is using a Thank you embossing folder.  To make it pink I used "My Favorite Things" Razzle Berry hybrid ink pad. I got this look by sponging the ink pad directly to the paper.  To finish off the card I added some diamond embellishments and mounted it on some pink card stock.  This made for a quick, simple and elegant card. Getting back on track & Announcement!!!

Hello it's been way to long since I last posted on my blog here.   Therefore I'd like to change that, I've been crafting a lot just haven't had the time or energy to keep up to date with my blog posting.  Though I want to change that and be better at updating this blog for those of you who read my blog and also as a way to keep track of the things I make in a fun way. The main reason why I haven't posted on the blog since November 16 of last year is because I am expecting my second child in June of his year. So around this time when my blog started lacking in posts I didn't have the energy to keep up with posting all that I'd been making.  I was also busy making baby announcement cards during this time so that we could share our news with family and friends in a really fun way.  (I will share this card/postcard with you in his post) Then with the holidays coming things got super busy with family events and various things.  Then came the new year an
